The sun provides enough renewable solar energy in one hour to power all human activities for one year. Much like a real flower, ECOPLANT is positioned towards toward the sun and automatically rotates in line with the sun throughout the day. It almost immediately begins to produce renewable energy that is efficiently charged through monocrystalline solar panels.
Inside the column of the ECOPLANT the operation of the device is placed and there is enough space for electronics, batteries, control and the inverter. The robust steel cylindrical column has been designed with an eye for optimal natural cooling.
Ecoplant can be equipped with many smart solutions making it a multifunctional device. It can be turned into an efficient energy platform for numerous other applications, such as a climate station, a built-in two-way communicating camera with day/night sensor and bright LED lighting, etc..
LED lighting: Bright LED street lighting protects, illuminates and offers a good view at properties, at home or in business parks.
Remote communication and WiFi/ 4G: Provides remote-controlled device efficiency. The functioning of the Ecoplant is monitored remotely and visualized in a monthly overview showing the operation and efficient power generation.
240° camera: Connect wirelessly to an app on your phone, wireless range up to 300m. You can view remotely and contact your users via the built-in intercom system. The camera has an alarm function and offers security wherever you want.
Customization: The standard Ecoplant column consists of a white coating, but it could be personalized with your company logo or business colour.
SMART CONNECT is a fully autonomous, high-end WiFi access point. It can be coupled to an existing internet connection over WiFi and serve as a range extender to provide extended area coverage. When placed in a location without access to an internet connection, the SMART CONNECT network and WiFi access point can be equipped with a 4G cellular mobile router (e.g. 4G or 5G cellular or satellite) that connects to the internet wirelessly.
SMART Connect offers ultimate flexibility and autonomy in outdoor networking. This kickboard system is made for permanent installations. It consists of aluminum posts with plastic panels that fit seamless into the aluminum profiles. Hydrorock is a unique natural aquifer system preventing onsite flooding and drought. Hydrofields AT is a system is based on Hydrorock – panels made of stone wool. Within the system Hydrorock in the first place is a substantial part of the total construction due to its high density, secondly it functions as a water management system making a traditional drainage system superfluous, and thirdly because Hydrorock gives energy back to the players due to its airlasticity and therefore has a positive effect on fatigue and the physical load of the players.

HYDROFIELDS ET
The versatile hybrid system
Composed of natural grass grown in a matrix of artificial turf fibers combined with a Hydrorock layer, Hydrofields ET delivers superior wear tolerance and recoverability. The backing of the artificial turf is biodegradable which degrades within 4- 6 weeks. What remains is an open grid with the artificial turf fibers, through which the roots of natural grass will grow deep. Within the system Hydrorock in the first place is a substantial part of the total construction due to its high density and at the same airlasticity; secondly it functions as a water management system making a traditional drainage system superfluous; and thirdly Hydrorock is a growing layer providing water and oxygen which encourages roots to grow deep and remain safely below ground, allowing the natural grass to become strong and fully established.

HYDROFIELDS
The 3-in-1 hybrid turf system
Hydrofields as a system is based on Hydrorock – panels made of stone wool. Within the system Hydrorock in the first place is as a substantial part of the total construction due to its high density and at the same airlasticity, secondly it functions as a water management system making a traditional drainage system superfluous, and thirdly because it is a growing layer because it provides water and oxygen encouraging roots to grow deep and remain safely below ground, allowing the natural grass to become strong and fully established.

Due to the versatility and flexibility of Hydrorock, the system is ideal for retrofit, difficult projects and restricted spaces. The blocks can accommodate existing infrastructure and immovable obstacles, going around corners and over/under and around pipes as required. In essence, the blocks can be installed anywhere a mini JCB can dig!
Hydrorock is able to absorb 94% of its volume, and when installed horizontally provide excellent drainage. Vertical installation promotes buffering and the gradual discharge of water into the surrounding soil, partly due to the filter cloth wrapping that acts as a membrane. This reduces water discharge, supplements the groundwater level in a natural way and relieves sewers.
Hydrorock can be installed alongside highways or under roads and is ideal for retrofit projects.
The blocks have an absorption capacity of 94% of its volume. Additionally, due to the structure of the Hydrorock, the blocks help the water infiltrate where it falls, dispersing it across the whole site rather than collecting in one central place and risk flooding.
Also, the absorption and attenuation rates of Hydrorock allow for slow runoff, relieving the pressure from the drainage systems and increasing the safety of the motorways. This intelligent water management systems means that clean water is stored and used when needed.
Hydrorock is a 100% natural material and totally ecologically and environmentally friendly. Hydrorock functions as a natural aquifer, soaking up water like a sponge, holding it like a reservoir and releasing it like a watering can.

HEATING
Smart and economic heating system
Under-soil heating systems heat the underside of a pitch with natural grass or artificial turf to avoid snow and ice from building up with the aim to avoid having to postpone any match. There are different systems: infrared radiation systems, electrical heating systems and water-based heating systems. The latter is the technology which has been optimized throughout the years and is in that sense a proven technology. Sport and Play International combines a water-based system with Hydrorock and BASEgrid because of the following benefits:
- Besides the improved playing quality because of Hydrorock, it also has a very high insulation value, resulting in more efficient usage of heat and consequently a reduction of heating costs.
- BASEgrid is installed on top of the Hydrorock panels and allows for the lateral heating pipes to be fixed onto the grid. Consequently, the pipes cannot move anymore and are protected at the same time.
- From a construction point of view combining the Hydrorock panels with BASEgrid results in a solid and uniform base layer
- The Hydrorock panels function as a water management system and make a traditional drainage system superfluous.
- The Hydrorock layer also functions as a growth medium, which in the case of natural grass strengthens the growth of the roots and leads to a truly reinforcement of natural grass.
